In the storied tradition of English gardens, the Primula Auricula holds a place of graceful distinction — admired for its velvety blossoms and bold charm. With Blooms by Beam’s Paper Primula, this cherished flower is reinterpreted as a permanent flourish for the interior — an enduring paper flower sculpture, made to be admired year-round, without the requirements of soil, shade, or seasonal care.
Available in three richly layered hues — Magenta, Periwinkle, and Amber — each potted paper flower is shaped and painted entirely by hand in my home studio in Manchester. Formed from fine Italian crepe paper, every paper plant is crafted with deliberate attention to detail, bringing an understated elegance to mantels, bookshelves, and curated surfaces.
This piece stands approximately 32cm tall (including the pot) and measures 15cm across. It rests in a rustic terracotta pot, offering a pleasing contrast to the softness of the bloom.
Whether styled on its own or gathered with other paper flowers or paper plants from the collection, the Paper Primula brings a sense of composed beauty to interiors that value craftsmanship and character.
Lightly treated with UV protection to help preserve its colour over time, this piece is best kept away from direct sunlight and humidity. Bespoke colour requests are warmly welcomed.
