Frequently
Asked Questions

How long do the paper flowers last?

With the right care, they can last indefinitely.

Just keep them away from direct sunlight and humid spaces to prevent fading and wear.
Deep colours like green or bright pinks may naturally fade over time, especially in sunlight.

How do I care for paper flowers?

To keep them looking their best:

  • Avoid direct sunlight — it will cause colours to fade over time.

  • Keep them out of humid areas like bathrooms or basements.

  • To clean, use a soft dry brush (like a makeup brush) or a gentle burst of canned air.

Each flower is UV-protected, but like any handcrafted piece, a little care goes a long way.

Can I commission a custom flower?

Of course! I love bringing your ideas to life. Just email me at hello@bloomsbybeam.com with the type of flower you’d like — feel free to include preferences for colour or size. It usually takes around 3-4 weeks for a custom piece but simply let me know if you are after a specific date and I'll see what I can do.

I also create larger installations for events and special spaces. You can see examples on my Commissions Page.

Will the flowers be safe during shipping?

Absolutely — I’ve safely shipped my paper flowers around the world! Each paper plant is lovingly cushioned in layers of packaging paper, nestled snugly in a sturdy cardboard box, and marked clearly as fragile. The paper flowers are surprisingly robust little things! When they arrive, just gently unfurl the petals and leaves to bring them back to life after their travels.

What if my flowers arrive damaged?

This is extremely rare, but in the unlikely event that something isn’t right, just drop me a line at hello@bloomsbybeam.com and I’ll make it right. You can also read more about my Shipping, Returns and Refunds policies here.

I’m sending a gift — can you include a note?

Yes, absolutely! The paper flowers are popular for first anniversaries (the symbol for it is paper) and birthdays. And whether its a get-well-soon, a thank-you, or just because — I’d be happy to include a personalised note or card.

Just leave your message in the “Add a note” section at checkout or email me at hello@bloomsbybeam.com.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I do — and I’m lucky to have a wonderful base of customers across the USA, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Please note that any duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
If you’d like an estimate or have questions about international delivery, just email me and I’ll be happy to help.

How long will it take to receive my order?

I aim to ship all standard paper flower orders within 5–7 days of purchase.
Craft kits usually go out a little quicker — within 2–3 days.

For UK customers, I use a next-day delivery service.
International shipping typically takes an additional 5–7 days signed delivery.

For commissions, timelines vary depending on the complexity of your design — but generally, they take around 3–4 weeks. See my past bespoke work here.

If you need something sooner, just email me at hello@bloomsbybeam.com and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Can I use a promo code on my order?

Yes, if there’s a valid promo code, you’ll see a spot to enter it at checkout.

That said, I rarely run sales because I believe in fair, honest pricing year-round especially for these paper flowers that take a lot of time to do.
Subscribers to my mailing list are the first to hear about any offers — join here if you'd like to stay in the loop!

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! You can purchase a digital gift card in various denominations — perfect for last-minute gifts or if you’re not quite sure what to choose.

Do you have a shop or showroom I can visit?

Not just yet! Right now, Blooms by Beam is entirely online — but maybe one day.

In the meantime, I do have wonderful shops and galleries in the UK where  you can see the paper flowers in person.

Can I use your images on my blog or website?

Thank you for asking — I pour a lot into my photography and it's a big part of the Blooms by Beam brand. If you’d like to use an image, just reach out for permission. And if you're reposting on social media, please credit me:
