Paper Snowdrops

Snowdrops have long been the heralds of spring—those early, steadfast blooms that rise gently from winter’s slumber to whisper that warmth is on its way. This Crepe Paper Snowdrop captures that tender moment in time and holds it still—a reminder that renewal is never far behind.

Each paper flower is meticulously handcrafted in my home studio in Manchester, with individual petals and leaves hand-cut, shaped, and painted in layers of soft white and green. A watercolour wash gives the foliage a painterly texture, and the blooms are thoughtfully arranged in a distressed terracotta pot, topped with preserved moss to evoke the woodland floor in early spring.

Standing approximately 20cm tall and 15cm wide, this potted paper flower brings an elegant, contemplative touch to shelves, desks, or tablescapes. As a paper plant, it asks nothing of its surroundings—no watering, no tending—yet offers enduring grace throughout the seasons.

A beautiful gesture for a discerning recipient, these paper snowdrops make a meaningful gift—symbolising hope, new beginnings, and the anticipation of change. Unlike fleeting fresh flowers or mass-produced décor, they carry emotional weight and artisanal care. A keepsake that lasts.

Packaged with respect for both product and planet, each sculpture is cushioned in recyclable, plastic-free materials—always with sustainability in mind.

Why not pair it with another early bloom like the Paper Crocus for a softly layered winter arrangement?
