An Enchanted Afternoon in the Cotswolds

Last month, I found myself amidst a vision—one spun from sunlight, florals, and friendship—in the heart of the Cotswolds. The occasion? POM-On-The-Wold Fashion Show 2025.
The sun arrived in full celebration, casting a golden warmth over a garden humming with lavender, laughter and expectation. It was the kind of day that reminded you: beauty is not just in what we wear but in who we gather with.
Guests drifted in—stylish, smiling—and were greeted with crisp drinks and delicate nibbles. A majestic marquee awaited us, softly billowing like a silk sail, under which some of the most inspiring female-founded English brands had gathered. I had the joy of being amongst them.
There was Alice of Memo Press, whose stationery speaks in whispered elegance; Sasha of Lords Fragrance House, whose scents turn moments into memories; and Yue of Ma Lin, weaving heritage into modern grace.
I presented my garden of paper flowers, each petal shaped by hand, and shared craft kits for others to create their own blooms. It touched me deeply how much love these paper flowers received. I also got so many compliments from the beautiful dress I was wearing. It's from St. Clair London, designed by the ever-talented Blair—feminine, fluid, and as soft as the Cotswold breeze.
And then—the fashion show. Dresses swept past us like dreams. Fabric told stories. The whole day was a quiet celebration of English creativity, community, and craftsmanship.
It was more than a fashion show. It was a love letter to the power of women gathering, creating, and flourishing. A massive thanks to Katie of Pom London, Lauren of A Style Lab Company and their team for orchestrating such a dreamy event. Every detail sang. Until next time, Pom-on-the-Wold . You’ve left us utterly enchanted.
